Dr. Leo Götz von Olenhusen

Leo Götz von Olenhusen is a partner at Vesthaus and attorney in the area of Real Estate and Corporate/M&A.

He advises on real estate transactions, M&A transactions and joint ventures, but also on general corporate and real estate law aspects.

He has a focus on, inter alia, the healthcare sector. In recent years, he has advised on numerous healthcare and assisted living transactions.

Prior to co-founding Vesthaus, Leo was Principal Associate at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and Associate Partner at Lower-Saxony's market leader KSB Intax.

  • Advising the investment manager KINGSTONE on the investment of the Berlin-based developer and asset manager KAURI CAB (Thomas Daily).

  • Advising Pickens Selfstorage on the sale of its portfolio with a volume of around EUR 120 million to European market leader Shurgard (JUVE) (Thomas Daily).

  • Advising the joint venture Kingstone Debt Advisory, a platform for property debt funds, between RECON, Pegasus and Kingstone Capital Partners (Thomas Daily).

  • Acquisition of a mixed-used new-build quarter in Erfurt city centre by Captiva (Thomas Daily).

  • Purchase of two clinics in Eastern and Southern Germany by Captiva Capital (press release).

  • Advising an AIF of Bayerische Versorgungskammer administered by Universal-Investment on the acquisition of the real asset “Arnulfbogen” in Munich.

  • Purchase of a specialist medical practice in Berlin.

  • Sale of the PflegeButler Group, a nursing home operator.

  • Sale-and-lease-back project developments of several nursing home operators.

  • Purchase of two assisted living in NRW by Captiva.

  • Sale of a large nursing home portfolio to Primonial by DANA.

  • Forward sale of a residential park by Convivo.

  • Forward sale of Frankfurt's Junghof Plaza by PGIM Real Estate.

  • Advising Expedia, Inc. on the IPO of trivago on NY NASDAQ.

  • Purchase of the German business of American Tower Corporation Inc. by PGGM.

  • Various M&A transactions by Indian automotive supplier Amtek Auto in Germany.
