Dr. Jan Hermsen

Dr. Jan Hermsen is a lawyer in the area of Corporate/M&A and advises companies and financial investors on transactions and all corporate law related matters. Given his MBA and his prior professional experience with a PE investor, he can provide his clients with a 360-degree advisory approach.

Besides cross-border transactions, in particular in the healthcare and consumer staples sectors, he has additional expertise in structuring and developing management participation programs for portfolio companies under PE ownership.

Prior to joining Vesthaus, he was a Principal Associate at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in Hamburg and Oslo and worked for a Hamburg-based private equity fund.
